The Victoria Arduino coffee machines have such a personal style that
only an original communication is able to "explain the character".
That is why their communication is left to the language of art.
The manifest symbol of Victoria Arduino –that which has become
an important "piece" in Italian and International graphic
design– is dated 1922; it represents an elegant traveller who,
leaning out of a leaving train, makes himself an espresso using a
Victoria Arduino, model Venus.
The author of the manifesto is Leonetto Cappiello, painter, designer,
posterist among the most appreciated and known (1875-1942). For the
main Italian Companies, Cappiello made almost three thousand commercial
posters. Today this collection - that also has value as a historical
witness - is collected in the main graphic and art museums in Italy
and all over the world. |
