A new season has begun and THE BARISTA CAMP team is currently working on the schedule for 2012. There will be one Competiton Camp as well as two Open Camps. One of these in a producing country, so Fritz Storm and Kentaro Maruyama can give people a possibility to see and feel how a farm works. The dates are not yet determined, but this will be done very soon. The Barista Camp had a very succesful in 2011 and Fritz Storm and Kentaro Maruyama will do their best to keep up with the success, as well as continue with the guest speakers and new "events". Nuova Simonelli, the company that first believed in “The Barista Camp” will be sponsor again. New sponsors are on the way such as Cafè de Colombia and others that will be announced on The Barista Camp web site. In April 12-15 Fritz Storm and Kentaro Maruyama will organize the Competition Camp. “This year – they said - we have selected 3 baristas who all will compete in Vienna. They have been chosen by their personality, which we believe can make a difference. They are all unique in their own way and they know who they are. They are used to work hard to achieve results. They are emotional and good ambassadors for our industry”. The Competition Camp will be held in KaffeMekka, Århus, Denmark.
